You Can Run…

When Christ suffered and died on the cross to take away the guilt of our offenses against God, he did more than just protect us in the after-life. This grace made us magnetically irresistible to the presence of God. Paul describes the ontological result as us being “one with Christ” or unified with Christ.

Because of the gospel, believer, you are “in Christ.” Because of that reality you can’t run from Him. As one in Christ you are always running toward Him… even when you try to run away. As one in Christ, you can no more run from Him than a planet can run from space.
